NOTES FROM THE INSTRUCTOR:
Paper: I use Rives BFK heavyweight -white Or Arches 140lb cold press
Brushes: I like to use: Rounds-- 2,4,6,8 and Angle Shaders-- 1/2", 5/8"
Paints: Try to get at least the primary colors--a red, yellow and blue in good quality paint--you can mix what you need from those. Don't go buy a whole bunch of paint for this class unless you plan to keep painting! You can do the class work and learn a lot without the investment! I would suggest that you look at some of the sets that are available.
Other materials I like to have on hand when I paint:
a dump bucket if you like to stay at your table and not hop up and down!
1/2 cup of Kosher Salt
Hair dryer ( we have one you can use during the class)
Sharpies-Extra Fine
Colored Pencils
Caran D'Ache WaterSoluable Artist Crayons
